I'm a recent University of Cambridge graduate in Geography with Mathematics. With A*s in A-level Maths, Further Maths and Physics, I have a passion for Maths and its many applications, and aim to share that passion with my tutees.
I'm currently only offering online tutoring, in which we'll use a Skype screen share to go over material and make notes.
I've tutored privately on/off since 2012 for GCSE and A level. With an additional 5 years experience working vacations at a holiday/ afterschool children's club, I provide an engaging and patient approach in my lessons for students of all ages.
Lessons are highly flexible in terms of style and content, and can be tailored to fit the needs of each student.
Typically, an hour long lesson might include 5 minutes discussing the previous week's material, 20 minutes of thorough concept building, 30 minutes applying theory in real examples and a 5 minutes round up.
As well as covering core theory, we often work on idea organisation and thought process. Stepping back from a problem and breaking it down into smaller parts often allows previously unconfident students to flourish.
