Fulham Tutor

I am a kind, friendly and high energy individual. My students and clients can testify to my work ethic and results. I am warm-hearted and I really and truly care about each of my students. I feel a professional and personal obligation to deliver consistent and high-quality tuition.

Tutoring Experience

My work has included tailoring lessons around the specific educational needs of every student that I come into contact with. I have taught in numbers ranging from classes of 35 to one-on-one tuition. I teach English* both as a second language and at GCSE. I also teach Drama, Monologue preparation, Public Speaking, Accents and Linguistics Coaching, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry and Biology* (*to GCSE) and have acted as the primary teacher for several families’ home-schooling with excellent results. I have experience with SEN students varying from behavioural issues to dyslexia, dyspraxia and dyscalculia. I have also taught and will be lecturing at Lincoln University (Acting and how to direct Actors). I have carried out in depth academic assessments and reports for Holland Park Education Consultants and am acting as a trusted source of educational advice and planning. The responsibilities in this area are high and incremental in many children’s development. A role of hitting tight deadlines with high standards. I work with Holland Park Education as a trusted and high-level tutor. I have experience with 11+ and 13+ training with a high success rate. My students have gained successful entry to schools including St Paul’s, Fulham Prep, Emanuel School, Latymer Prep and Wilson’s School. The job can be extremely challenging but this is the foundation for the absolute satisfaction of making what could be a frustrating and painful experience of education into one that is manageable, progressive and exciting. 2000+ teaching hours’ experience. Full DBS. Teaching references and testimonials available upon request.
I worked as a teacher of English for children aged 11 to 18 in Oxford. The children ranged vastly in nationality. I loved teaching and it taught me to assess and analyse on a daily basis exactly what I needed to do for each and every student to help them pass their exams. I passed all my students with merits or above. I am happy to give a reference. I used the Trinity English system from Beginner all the way to Advanced. Involved work with SEN Students on both classroom and one to one basis.

Tutoring Approach

I believe that through a combination of high focus drilling, patience and kindness that students will be able to attain grades and achieve goals that had before seemed totally impossible. I have many testimonials of success stories.
