I am the Shropshire Science Tutor available for online or in person (Shrewsbury, Much Wenlock, & surrounding villages) tuition. I offer personalised tutoring and revision sessions to boost confidence and gain valuable exam techniques. I have over 14 years of experience and absolutely love helping students improve in Science! I have worked in several science related roles and nothing has inspired me like working with young people and building their enthusiasm for and understanding of Science! I completed my masters degree in Ecology at the University of Liverpool following which I worked as a botanist for a different organisations including the University of Leeds and Queens University Belfast. I have a range of interests outside of a genuine interest in my subjects such as rock climbing, horse riding and reading. I am also a mum which I feel has brought so much positivity to my teaching and relationships with my students.

Tutoring Experience

I am an experienced Science Teacher & exam board assessor having taught KS3 & 4 Science to students of all abilities and with a range of SEN. I have taught Separate Sciences (AQA and OCR specifications) to some very gifted students and also A' level Biology (OCR, AQA & WJEC).

Currently working in an independent school teaching Biology and Psychology to A level.
