This is how 3 referees rated Sadaquat:
I'm an engaging, qualified teacher and engineer with many years of experience teaching Maths and Science from KS2 through to A-levels. My students regularly achieve A*-B grades as well as Distinctions
My entire secondary and college education was attained at one of London's top private schools and the high teaching and support standards I was exposed to have been absorbed into my own teaching methods.
I graduated from Queen Mary University in Aerospace Engineering; a degree which is heavily focused on applying advanced Maths and Physics concepts to everyday engineering problems. This allows me to help students really visualise, understand and appreciate these subjects.
I have completed 2 years of teaching at a large secondary school in East London, followed by a year at an outstanding school in Coventry teaching general science and specialising in Physics up to A-Level. During this time I completed the prestigious Teach First Leadership Development Programme which makes me extremely adept at helping students from all kinds of backgrounds to succeed with top grades. I am currently teaching Maths, Physics, Chemistry, Biology and Engineering to a range of students.
I have been privately teaching GCSE and A-Level for 5 years as well as degree level engineering maths, I have had many successes, consistently helping students to progress from poor and average grades to good and excellent ones. This includes a large number of A*-B grades in both the written exams and in coursework. and in recent KS4 results, 2 of my students were the only pupils in the entire school to achieve a Distinction in their BTEC Science course.
My main goal is to give students a solid conceptual understanding of their subject. Rather than simply learning formulas and equations, the students will understand the real world use of each topic so that the purpose of the subject is always clear while I teach them.
In the first lesson students will take a simple test to establish their strengths and weaknesses. The next few lessons will be used to address any weaknesses in the basics. Then each new topic will be introduced with review questions at the end of the lesson and a short homework exercise to be completed before the next lesson. The homework progress will be reviewed before going on to the next topic. I will be on hand to help with (but not do) school homework.
We will work according to the student's syllabus and constantly tackle past exam questions to measure their progress. Whenever a student has difficulty understanding a concept, I look at the obstacle from their point of view and use a range of visual aids, real world examples and basic problems to make sure they can 'see the light' before continuing.
I am currently teaching a student A-level Physics online who suffers from Aspergers and severe Dyslexia, yet my approach to teaching means that she is thoroughly enjoying the course while making excellent progress

Since this review, we have received the GCSE results - achieved A grades in Physics and Chemistry and B in biology, all a significant improvement on the mock grades so thank you Sid for all your support and encouragement!
