I am a Politics and International Relations student from Queen Mary, University of London with a passion for teaching. I am an ex-Grammarian student and would describe myself as ardent and approachable. I consider myself to be a very patient person which allows me to deal with difficult and challenging situations effectively. I feel like these traits are key in aiding the success of a student.
I am very confident that I would be able to guide and teach my students in a manner that would maximize their results. Every lesson will be tailored to the specific needs of the student to ensure the best results. Having finished my A-levels so recently and currently being enrolled for a Bachelors degree, I am freshly in touch with the student curriculum therefore allowing me to directly relate to my students.
1) I have previously volunteered at a local education centre as a Maths and English assistant which included encouraging and assisting young children to perform to the best of their ability. This included marking and correcting their work as well as giving constructive feedback on their mistakes to work on.
2) Volunteered at a charity organisation called the The Citizens Foundation where I taught underprivileged kids how to read, write and draw.
3) I have been tutoring students from the ages of 4 - 17 for 8 months.
I am extremely confident that I would be able to help a student in such a way that would maximise their results. The lessons would be engaging and tailored to the students particular needs. Having finished my A-levels so recently, I am freshly in touch with the student curriculum therefore allowing me to directly relate to my students.
