I love maths, and I love working with people who don't yet! - as well as with those who do. My students have made great progress, both in ability and in enthusiasm.
I graduated in June 2016 from the University of Cambridge, having studied Mathematics and Theology. I have since been a maths teacher at two of Cambridge’s language schools and at a private college, in addition to my work as a private tutor.
I have had 73 individual tutees to date.
I taught more than 1600hrs of maths over the previous two academic years.
I have provided support for GCSE, A-Level and IB maths, as well as for nursing and teacher training, and for University business studies.
I am familiar with the new 9-1 specification for GCSE and with the new A level specification for maths and for further maths.
I have been the main teacher for home-schooled students, as well as giving extra support to school, college and university students.
I have worked with both young people and adults.
I have supported several students with a range of special educational needs.
I have given both short periods of intensive tutoring and longer periods of support.
I am very flexible with regard to times and goals. I can provide very exam-focused teaching, ongoing support, or something off-syllabus to keep you interested. I am happy to work with young people or adult learners.
