I am a UCL Philosophy graduate (2:1) currently completing an MA in Health Humanities, also at UCL. I enjoy studying and in my spare time enjoy reading, pottery and being outdoors. I am friendly, outgoing and hardworking.
I have A-Levels in English Literature (A*) Psychology (A*) and RS: Philosophy and Ethics (A*) as well as an AS Level in English Language (A)
I have taught Philosophy in a primary school classroom through The Philosophy Foundation and currently work ad-hoc for Mind in Hackney, The City and Waltham Forest delivering curriculum based mental health workshops in schools. Additionally, over the past 5 years I have tutored a range of students from ages 6+ from a variety of backgrounds across subjects English, Psychology and Religious Studies. Including A-Level, GCSE, general secondary school, general primary school and 7+ preparation.
I enjoy learning and teaching and consider myself creative in my approaches whilst committed to achieving the best outcomes for students. I try to incorporate wider information about the world the student is operating in in order to broaden understanding and to help them contextualise the sometimes abstract concepts learnt academically. I like to assess each student and come to a working pattern which works well for all of us.
