My teaching of languages uses different techniques. I am extremely up to date to the newest developments in teaching and I combine them with a strong intuition of what works for each student. I have learnt six languages myself, apart from my native Spanish, and I do have a strong understanding of how languages are learnt. I also have experience teaching young learners with SEN and postgraduate qualifications in literacy developement.

I have a long experience as a tutor, going back to when I used to teach Spanish syntax to my own classmates during my high school years.
At the moment I am teaching only on Sundays.
I have a deep understanding on how languages are learnt, how language is acquired and how literacy is developed. My passion for language acquisition took me to do all the language acquisition and literacy development from the Postgraduate Certificate in Deaf Education (Manchester).
I will prepare you for your exams, but I will also teach you how to truly express yourself in the language, how to understand it and, essentially, how to actually being a competent user of the language.
I have now specialised in exams preparation. I am an AQA examiner, and I have excellent practical knowledge of the mark scheme for both A Level and GCSE.
I devote as much time, if not more, to prepare the feedback and to create targeted exercises as I have hours of tuition. I get in touch with the students half way between our sessions, in order to give them feedback on their work (video, written, audio) and get them a task to complete before the following session. This multiplies the efficiency of the tutoring, as long as students do what I ask them to!
I am a legitimate business. I declare all my income to HRMC and provide invoices for my services.
I accept weekly or fortnightly bookings, and I will be in touch half way between the sessions in order to give feedback to students and give them an additional exercise that they need to do before our next meeting.
I teach from 6:30 to to 9:30pm, weekdays. I have a specialised software that allows me to show both my face and my desk- with whatever exercises or resources I am sharing with the student.
It is essential that the students want to learn and are willing to devote as much time to do the targeted exercises as to the live sessions.
It is also essential that students can use a scan, and a printer, ideally in colour. I often work in parallel with the students, when both them and I have the same materials on our desks.
The prices quoted are only for packs of 5 classes. Single individual lessons are charged at £35 per hour.
I require payment in advance and a 24h notice in order to cancel lessons without a penalty.
