Information About Robin - Shrewsbury tutor - (2 reviews)
This is how 2 referees rated Robin:
My name is Robin , I live in Shrewsbury but I am from London originally.I have 2 young sons and 1 young daughter and I'm married. I left England at 18 to live in Lyon, France where I completed my degree in French and I returned at the age of 23 My wife is from Germany and my sons are bi-lingual. I enjoy sport, theatre and reading - when I get the chance!
I qualified as a teacher of French and German in 1999. Since then I have been Head of Languages at 4 separate schools, 2 in Surrey - Gordon's School and St George's College - 1 in Jakarta (Indonesia) - British School of Jakarta - and I have been working as Head of Languages at Wrekin College, Wellington since 2013. I have provided private tuition at all levels since 1999.
The lesson which is taught - at whatever level - is always prepared thoroughly beforehand. I do not believe that tutors should simply re-do the lesson which the students have seen in their normal language class in their school, nor should the lessons be a homework session. Each extra class should support the student's progress in the language. I use interactive software, powerpoints, audio files and books in my classes. For examination classes I have a wide range of experience across all three awarding bodies at GCSE, IGCSE & A Level (OCR, Edexcel, AQA) as well as experience of the IB diploma course.

He is an enthusiastic, well organised and reliable tutor, who definitely engaged well with our daughter and we believe he played a huge part in her success in her GCSE French exams.
A huge thank you Rob, from all of us.
