Having studied music at Cambridge for my BA until graduating in 2014, I now live in Islington, offering academic tutoring in Music, English, and Maths, and music lessons. I have tutored students up to university level in all three subjects in person, by email, and via Skype, with all seeing vast improvements in their results. I am also a peripatetic music teacher working in Leicester, Peterborough, and Pimlico (London).
This year I will be completing a Masters-level qualification in Performance Education, having studied learning and education theory for a year.
I am best reached via email.
My tutees so far have been GCSE level, in English, Maths, and Music; please see my details for the other subjects and levels I am currently offering to tutor.
As well as helping to tackle specific areas of improvement in each subject, I aim to inspire and nurture an enthusiasm for academic work, whilst also cultivating verbal finesse in essay writing. I am eager to extend this to developing a student's interest in a subject regarding topics outside the curriculum.
Though I offer music theory, composition, analysis and aural tuition, I particularly specialise in singing lessons. As a vocal coach, I can apply principles of good technique and expression to all sorts of singing styles, and can be of particular use to anyone interested in developing a classical singing voice.
