I am currently a 3rd year Electronic Engineering student at the University of Surrey. I have a strong passion for maths, physics, science and design and love to teach and spread my understanding. I believe it is most benficial when the student feels encouraged and finds interest in what they are learning to produce great results.
I completely understand the position of the struggling student as not too long ago I left the classroom myself and as such my teaching style is to start from the foundation. I have experience teaching my younger cousins and friend's siblings, where I try my best to approach tuition from the prospective of the student.
I believe that everyone's learning style is unique and as a teacher the challenge has always been to identify the relevant approach to suit the individual needs of my students.
My strategy has always been to make my student interested and therefore engaged in the teaching subject. This would make the learning, an enjoyable experience resulting in achieving the best results in their ability.
Identifying the areas which my student is weak is always the first step in achieving their goal. Then I tend to walk my student step by step in these areas to overcome their fear and build confidence that they would do well them.
