**From Susan ( /5):**

*(Primary Maths)*Richard is a very kind man and he makes for a brilliant teacher as he stays calm and relaxed and quiet and makes the lesson fun too. I would recommend him without a shadow of a doubt, He is brilliant.

**From Ella ( /5):**

*(GCSE Maths)*Brilliant and amiable tutor, explains in a way that I can understand and is very relaxed. He focuses on what I want to learn in each session and I felt that we covered more in an hour then I could achieve on my own or at a maths class. I struggle to grasp maths and have spent weeks going over things in the past on my own and with maths teachers at college and I never got it! Richard explains/shows me once and I understand it straight away :-)

**From Jardine ( /5):**

*(GCSE Maths)*I'm 19 currently just re-sat my maths GCSE exam. I had I'd say about 2-3 months of tutor sessions, once every week and I can defiantly say Richard has been a bit help,he's very reliable and willing to work around your free time. He's also got a lot of patience when it comes to the actual teaching section, he didn't have any problem explaining and re-explaining how to solve problems. I'd defiantly recommend Richard as a maths tutor and I feel like I've defiantly have a higher chance of passing with his tutoring.

**From Sarah ( /5):**

*(GCSE Maths)*I have contacted r but am having difficulty firming arrangements up with another English tutor, Christina. She has accepted my son but I have tried to buy her details but the system will not allow me to. All v frustrating. Can you help on that one?

**From Olivia ( /5):**

*(Primary Maths)*Very positive first three weeks with Richard. My daughter is gaining confidence and learning new methods to calculate sums.

**From Nicole ( /5):**

*(GCSE Maths)*Very good tutor, needed someone to give my son a little extra help before his GCSE's. My son and I both agree that the tutoring helped him understand a few things that he may have otherwise struggled with. Would recommend.

**From Nigel ( /5):**

*(A-Level Maths)*Very very helpful indeed. Richard gave excellent one to one tuition to our daughter in preparation for her maths A levels. She was much more at ease with the subject after Richards time.

We feel that this kind specialised extra tuition is invaluable for students who maybe need a little more time spent on a particular subject, especially for exam prep.

Totally satisfied.

**From Linda ( /5):**

*(GCSE Maths)*My daughter has only had two meetings with Richard but she is very happy with the way he works. He is certainly helping her. She is working at her pace and choosing the particular topics which she finds difficult. He is very easy to commmunicate with and very patient.

**From Bruce ( /5):**

*(University Maths)*Helped me a great deal and he will be helping me up until exams. Would recommend to others.

**From Joanne ( /5):**

*(A-Level Maths)*Richard was most helpful and our daughter benefited from his help

**From Ché ( /5):**

*(GCSE Maths)*Really found Richards teaching method has worked for me. If I've not understood something he's gone back to step 1 until it's clearly understood. Relaxed and friendly learning environment. Would highly recommend.

**From Callum ( /5):**

*(A-Level Maths)*I am finding Richard's tuition to be most beneficial to my needs. A very nice guy. Thanks.

**From Bobbi ( /5):**

*(GCSE Maths)*although my daughter has only had 1 session with richard at the moment she seemed very at ease with him & she found herself understanding the methods of working out alot easier.

**From Jutta ( /5):**

*(GCSE Maths)*It is a little early to say, my daughter has only had one lesson so far as the curriculum has changed once again. Richard is very understanding and flexible and did not mind the sudden change brought on by the School. He will be teaching my daughter over the next 1.5 to 2 years to get her through her maths GCSE. Our first impression is very favourable, he has a gently nature and seems able to teach maths in a way which she understands well. I am quite confident that with his help, her maths should improve greatly. Regards, Jutta

**From Clare ( /5):**

*(University Maths)*I found Richard very helpful and his lessons helped me achieve a good understanding of the topics I was having difficulty with. He would often go back to the basics and build up my knowledge ensuring I understood every step.

His calm and patient manner helps to build confidence when tackling particularly difficult problems, especially if you need a step explaining twice.

I would definitely use Richard again if I needed any further maths tuition.

From Kornelia (5/5):(GCSE Maths)My daughter had a couple of maths lessons with Richard. She does like is calm and patient tutoring and she says is explanations are superb. She aims to achieve an A -B in maths for her GCSE's and hopefully with Richards help this will be possible.
