I am 25 years old, living in Willesden, and I currently working as a class teacher at a primary school in Hampstead. I also have a degree in journalism.
I am a passionate, hard-working individual, who enjoys working with kids and playing a part in their development as young people. I enjoy playing sport, and I believe being active and healthy ensures a happy lifestyle.
I am a qualified primary school teacher, having completed my PGCE training last year. I currently work at a primary school in Hampstead, and spent my training year working in schools in Tottenham and Barnet. My main experience is working with year 2 and year 3 children, but I am qualified to teach all primary years.
I have had experience looking after kids for several years where I have taken charge of reading, writing, and helped with spelling, and maths tests.
I have work experience at a Nursery School where I was responsible for assisting children with difficulties reading, writing and comprehension - often where English was a second language.
I have also done sports coaching with kids in primary and secondary schools, helping out at sports days and teaching a range of sports; including football, tennis, and badminton.
My focus on teaching is building a positive relationship with my students, and ensuring they are comfortable around me. I always remain professional, but also want to try and bring fun and excitement to learning. I work hard to identify the students strengths and weaknesses, and adapt my teaching accordingly. I aim to ensure students feel at ease an able to be themselves so that I can best facilitate their learning.
