Information About Rebecca - Forres tutor - (1 review)
This is how 2 referees rated Rebecca:
I am passionate about all aspects of English. I love reading all kinds of literature. I love being able to understand how the English language works and how linguistics fits in with this. I enjoy all aspects of writing, including spelling and grammar, and I love writing my own fiction, short stories, poetry and novels. I have a degree in English Literature, Language and Linguistics and I am eager to share my knowledge with anyone who needs it.
I have ten years experience in customer service which means I have the ability to build a rapport with people. In addition to this I have two years experience working with apprentices, running core skills workshops, coaching and assisting with course work. I am also a qualified assessor which means I know what an assessor or examiner is looking for and can tutor accordingly. I have my Disclosure Scotland and have experience working with children, adults and anyone with special needs.
My approach to tutoring depends on the needs of the learner. I teach in an informal environment where the student can feel inspired, calm and encouraged. I am patient, friendly and enthusiastic. I like the learner to find learning fun and interesting as when something is enjoyable it gets the best results. I feel that communication is key to constructing a good relationship with the student and I think that parents should be involved with the learning process and any feedback I give to the learner.
