This is how 2 referees rated Rebecca:
I started my career as a History teacher in a school in Battersea having graduated with my PGCE from Roehampton. I then moved to Berkshire and taught English and Drama in an all girls boarding school. I briefly set up my own choreography company in 2000. By 2011 having had my children, I moved to Norfolk where I set up my own tutoring business 'Vine House Tutoring'.
I have taught History and English in a number of private Schools across London. When I moved to Norfolk I taught English to Year Seven in two Academies to help those achieve a level six. I then taught AQA GCSE English in the College of West Anglia. I have a wealth of varied teaching experience and have taught children across the board.
I try to tailor my sessions to suit each individual. I believe that a positive and enthusiastic approach is important plus an understanding of the pupils interests. I set clear boundaries and targets but am very much led by their needs. I have found over the years that tutoring is an amazing gift to offer any child. It allows them to grow educational in a different way, to the skills learnt in a classroom. They grow in confidence and feel valued.
