I am a graduate of Optometry from Aston University and I am very passionate about teaching Mathematics and Science. I have always had satisfaction in helping others gain knowledge and encouraging them to reveal their true potential. I believe everyone has been blessed with a gift and it is a combination of having the right opportunities and hard work that can make a student achieve great things.
My communication and interpersonal skills are excellent, which reflects well in my work as a study assistant in the University of Birmingham.
Having been an academic mentor for peers throughout my education i have gained sufficient skills and attributes that make me a fantastic tutor. I have often been told by my students that the way I teach is very understandable and logical as I can explain things very clear and well.
Being a Study Assistant at University I have had to adapt to the students learning needs and this has been a great experience which has made me excel at tutoring.
Every student is different and every student learns in a different way whether it be kinetic, audio or visual learning. I will be tutoring my students in a technique that would benefit and suit them the most. Having been through the education system myself, I know exactly what stresses exams and assessments can bring upon a student, but most importantly I am able to advise my students on how to overcome these difficulties.
