I have been teaching for the past 7 years. I have a degree in English Literature and Statistics, followed with a degree in Teaching (PGCE). I am very experienced in teaching English as a foreign language and have worked in TefL for many years. I love working with all types of learners and within the education system. I take pride in my motivating and inspiring skills. I am punctual, organised and can adapt my teaching skills to suit every learner.
I have a lot of experience teaching in both key 1 and 2 . I am currently teaching year 5 however, I extensive experience year 2 and 3. I lead Literacy throughout my school and I'm a Local Authority Moderator for Kent. I am very well experienced in teaching the new curriculum and supporting children through SAT exams and the 11 plus. I am passionate about helping children become enthusiastic about their learning and providing them with the key strategies needed in order to achieve their goals.
I believe that every person has the ability to learn- they just need to be provided with the correct strategies, understanding and approaches in order to reach their full potential. I will work closely with the child to identify their strength and weakness and input strategies to ensure that every lesson is adapted to suit the needs of each individual child.
