I am a 33 year old woman with a passion for teaching in a fun and practical way. I am friendly and open, helping children relate and connect with me quickly.
I firmly believe that instilling a love of learning is the first step to unlocking and achieving your full potential.

I have a first class degree in teaching and have been graded "outstanding" by management and external leadership team. I have a secure subject knowledge of the primary curriculum and use a variety of techniques to enable all pupils to not only access it but to also enjoy the journey.

Tutoring Experience

I have been teaching for 11 years and tutoring for 9 years. Since having my children 4 years ago, I left full time teaching and tutored full time. This has since become so successful that I now have a team of teachers working with me providing tuition with the same passion and enthusiasm to over 130 students.

What makes us different?

  • Monitoring: Not only will you have verbal feedback at the end of every lesson, the teacher will also record this on our secure, online system which you can access at anytime. This is a great way of being able to track and monitor what your child is learning over the course of the tuition.

Lesson reminders:
- You will get a lesson reminder email 24 and 2 hours before your lesson.

-You can have weekly or fortnightly lessons all year or just term time. We aim to provide the level of tuition you need as and when you require it.

Tutoring Approach

Where some more prescriptive teaching methods threaten to ‘educate out’ the natural curiosity in their students, I aim to foster an inquisitive mind and encourage my students to ask questions; to test concepts and to push their boundaries. Sessions are fun, engaging and packed full of practical activities to help apply and consolidate concepts.
