I'm an enthusiastic teacher who has always enjoyed working with young people, inspiring and helping them on their journey to succeed in whatever they're trying to accomplish. Maths has always been a strong passion of mine and I love to educate students to either feel more comfortable with the work they're doing or excel with the ability they already have.

Tutoring Experience

I'm working in a Secondary School and in my fourth year of teaching. I've worked with lower and middle ability students at GCSE level and confident with higher ability also. I have experience with tutoring from doing sessions for students within my school as well as outside for the last 3 years.

Tutoring Approach

As well as knowing the basics and understanding different areas within Maths, I recognise the importance of students then seeing how topics come up in exams with how they are worded, to ensure they know how to solve different question. From working within a school I have access to a wide range of resources and teaching platforms that aid students' success. I work in a team with highly experienced Maths teachers that I have learnt a lot from in terms of how to prepare students most effectively for their exams. I believe in a guided approach to teaching, giving the students the resources they need to gain knowledge and understanding of different areas whilst being there for support when needed.
