I hold a PhD in chemistry and have a passion for the chemical sciences and education. I have a fundamental understanding of chemistry and the principles on which it is built. I am capable of inspiring interest in my subject and have a track record of getting results.
During my time in academia, I taught and enjoyed teaching undergraduate level chemistry, in tutorials and practical classes. I have taught within internationally recognized institutions at a variety of levels.
Over the last few years I have been teaching chemistry in the private sector and have enjoyed great success.
I understand that the complexity of chemistry can be overwhelming. I have a firm belief that mastering the very basic principles on which the subject is built is the key to training the mind to understand the more complex aspects of the subject.
I am flexible in my methods and believe that every student is different and requires a different approach. I use industrial examples of chemistry and every day examples of chemistry to communicate ideas in teaching complex subject matter.
