Woodbridge Tutor

I'm a 37 year old mature student currently half way through my second year of a BA honours degree in English literature. I'm a management professional with experience of training design and delivery. I've got a close connection to education and have spent time as a school governor. As a parent myself I understand the need to make learning a fun and engaging activity. I aim to tailor tutorials to the individual to ensure the time is maximised. I'm experienced in working with young people from early years to secondary levels. As an ex police officer I'm experienced in working with people from all walks of life.

Tutoring Experience

-Classroom based IT and service training for a public sector employer.
-1 to 1 homework support for a vulnerable child.
-Primary school work experience including reading support.

Tutoring Approach

Creative! I aim to use the students interests to engage them in the subject - I've found from experience that varied and relevant content, using various technologies can help any child engage in the learning process.

Learning needs to be enjoyable and developing the right outlook to learning is crucial.
