I'm currently working as Head of Maths and Further Maths specialist teacher within a 6th Form. I feel I am a balanced and hardworking tutor, interested in instilling in students a sense of excitement and enthusiasm for mathematics.Teaching is something I feel really passionate about, whilst understanding its importance and impact on future generations.I also gain a great sense of motivation and personal satisfaction as my students gain knowledge and develop their understanding.
Mathematics Tutor: I deliver one on one lessons to students or adults who need to improve their examination performance and build their confidence. The tutorials are tailored to individual needs and requirements whilst are designed to inspire and inform. I have gained experience with AQA, Edexcel and OCR examination boards while working with students towards GSCEs, A levels and IB.
Tutorial leader,University of Crete,Greece: I provided class tutorials on partial differential equations, ordinary differential equations, linear algebra, numerical analysis, vector calculus, curve-surface-multiple integrals and numerical methods for ordinary differential equations. I earned extensive teamwork experience with groups of students, developed excellent leadership skills and an ability to clearly communicate difficult concepts to large audiences.
I strongly believe that every student has the right to the best education. I have both the personal and professional skills needed as a highly effective teacher.
