I am a part-time maths and physics tutor and a former Cambridge admissions interviewer. I have particular strengths in helping A level students in preparation for university interviews at Oxbridge.
I have a PhD in Physics and a First class Undergraduate degree in Natural Sciences (Physical) from the University of Cambridge. I believe that I am well-versed in Maths and Physics and have been very successful in explaining concepts to younger students over several years.
I was a member of the Natural Sciences admissions team at Fitzwilliam College, Cambridge for 4 years, during which time I interviewed around 100 prospective applicants for the Cambridge Natural Sciences course, and made selection decisions with other members of the admissions team.
I have taught maths and physics to a variety of ability levels, from pre-16 to Master's undergraduate with a high degree of success and have received positive reviews of my teaching from many students.
I have also completed extensive supervision and demonstration activities for undergraduates at Cambridge in Maths and Physics and have also been involved in the undergraduate admissions process at Fitzwilliam College.
