Knowledgeable, but not the right tutor for us.

Peter has helped my son up from a Grade 3 to a Grade 5 Foundation in the space of 3 months. Recommended.

Peter helped my son get back on track with Maths A'level year 2.

Originally Peter visited us weekly in person, later using video conferencing during Lockdown; at all times Peter was patient, knowledgeable and encouraging.

Peter guided us by proving that Maths, once broken-down into its constituent topics and elements, is a subject that is entirely approachable and possible to navigate through successfully.

My 16 year old son has had maths tutoring with Peter for the past 8 months. Peter has a good depth of knowledge and explains the topics in a easily understood manner. He is very calm and patient. Peter also taught techniques on how to approach GCSE exam papers. I believe Peters help led my son to achieve a grade or two higher he would have otherwise got. We would highly recommend Peter as a tutor.

My son has been working with Peter for the last 6 months, in person and online. Peter is very calm and patient, and has really improved my sons confidence in tackling maths questions and has particularly supported him in the skills of working systematically, and showing what he knows on paper. Helpful and kind, but wasn’t right for me.

Peter has tutored our daughter through her recent GCSE maths and helped her to achieve her target grade. He has been a calm and encouraging influence and helped her gain confidence in a subject she has found a challenge. Peter's gentle manner and teaching skills suited our daughter's needs and he found ways to help her understand maths and coped with her intense questioning! Peter is a very knowledgeable and patient tutor and helped Hari to apply new techniques and gain confidence for his maths GCSE. Our Daughter was struggling with Maths GCSE. Peter was a great help, patiently working through examples on a week by week basis and set additional and appropriate homework. Really impressed with Peter and grateful as my daughter passed her GCSE with flying colours.

My son was stressed because one of his school maths teachers was not explaining things fully for him even though he would ask for further clarification. I decided he needed extra help in the run up to his A levels and searched online for a tutor. Peter has really helped my son to get to grips with the maths topics that he was struggling with. My son does past papers and gets Peter to go through the problematic questions. Peter has been tutoring my son as he had just started year 10 and was concerned he may not be able to understand the gcse maths to keep up and wanted somebody to be able to explain any problems he might come across. Peter knows his subject. He works out according to the student's weak areas and gives plenty of homework. He is friendly and very punctual for his lesson. Overall my son is happy having him as his maths teacher.
