I am a former Deputy Head teacher who has taught History in secondary schools for many years. I am also a qualified primary teacher. I can also offer KS2 and KS3 English.

Tutoring Experience

I have taught History in secondary schools for many years and am an Edexcel A Level Examiner. I have also examined GCSE History. I have experience of teaching a wide range of abilities and have worked as a private tutor on an occasional basis for exam candidates before relocating to the Leek area.

Tutoring Approach

My focus is always on the individual and I aim to be positive and encouraging. I believe in the case of exam candidates that how to answer the question is as important as learning the specified content and here I am able to use my examiner experience to good effect.
