I worked as a French teacher for 20 years in both London and, more recently, in Tunbridge Wells where I taught in 2 of the town's grammar schools. I am now a full-time 11+ tutor.

Tutoring Experience

I have a thorough knowledge of the workings of the 11+ exam and a wealth of materials. My many years of experience as a secondary school teacher have provided me with the skills to obtain the best from my pupils. I cover all aspects of the 11+ exam.

Tutoring Approach

Pupils are taught either individually (£45/hour) or in small groups (£30/hour); the maximum group size is 3 pupils. In lessons, each pupil works on a Chromebook and tasks are accessed via 'Google Docs'. Many aspects of the 11+ lend themselves to be practised through games and, here, the Chromebooks come into their own.
