Personal Description:

I'm Paul and I'm someone who loves learning and assisting others with learning.

Tutoring Experience:

I’ve been working as a tutor/teacher/lecturer for over decade and I’ve spent that time delivering an uncommonly wide range of subjects. Whereas most teaching professionals concentrate on one specialism, I have moved between subjects throughout colleges and schools within the Midlands in order to expand my experiences and knowledge as an academic practitioner. I began teaching within the digital arts and have since made my way through many subjects ranging from literature to Workskills. This versatile skillset wasn’t achieved through having ‘itchy feet’ or a lack of commitment to a single area; it’s down to a love of attaining new skills and a motivation for versatility. Due to these factors, I am potentially able to support students in a wide expanse of subjects.

Tutoring Approach:

My passion for exploring the varying areas of education means that I’m also familiar with all types of learners. Although I began teaching Level 3 learners in Further Education, I am confident and experienced in teaching anyone from Entry Level students to university alumni. In addition to this, I am extremely friendly and communicative with all age groups.
Also, my eight years of managing a Level 1 program means that I’m fully qualified in helping students with potential learning barriers such as Asperger’s, mental health issues, Dyspraxia, ADHD, Cerebral Palsy, Down’s Syndrome, clinical depression, social anxiety and low self esteem.
I'm extremely patient and supportive, plus my experience means that I can see potential hurdles that may slow down your learning process.
