Information About Paul - Ashton-under-Lyne tutor - (7 reviews)
This is how 2 referees rated Paul:
I am enjoying my teaching career immensely. I am very conscientious and enjoy the satisfaction of helping someone improve and achieve levels of attainment that they did not think they were capable of doing.
I have been teaching for 11 years to GCSE and A-level students following a career in industry, and am also the KS4 Science coordinator in a very successful grammar school.
The school has an excellent track record for students obtaining University places in order to study Medicine, Veterinary Science, Chemical Engineering etc.
I am heavily involved in the pastoral side of education as I am a Head of Year at the school too.
I am an approachable, friendly, patient and experienced teacher. I find that my role as a teacher/tutor is not just about helping a student to also to help them how to learn more efficiently, to build and then extend their confidence. I am resourceful in my approach to helping my students understand and progress. I will willingly travel for tuition appointments and I have a proven track record for helping pupils achieve, or even exceed, their target grades. I genuinely enjoy helping pupils understand what can often seem like mind-blowing topics and ideas in the new specification AQA, reinforce their understanding of particular topics but Edexcel and OCR syllabus. My CRB check will be provided on request

I would recommend Paul as a tutor to anyone else who is struggling with chemistry as a subject.
Paul has his own teaching methods which are utterly great he is very patient and willing to help as much as he can He knows how to coach someone and prepare for a GCSE test in a good manner Paul also stays over his time limit to make sure my brother is confident in his studies.
