This is how 3 referees rated Paul:
Hello, I am a professional chemist and qualified teacher. I have worked in research and development for a large pharmaceutical company for many years and more recently trained and qualified as a Teacher of Science. I have taught chemistry in secondary schools and currently work at Loughborough College.
I am married with two (adult) children. My daughter attends York University where she studies Biochemistry and my son is an engineering apprentice at a local engineering firm.
As a synthetic organic chemist for AstraZeneca I have been responsible for supervising university undergraduates and improving their theoretical and practical chemistry.
For the past three years I have worked in schools as a Teacher of Science delivering chemistry and physics lessons at GCSE and chemistry at 'A' level.
Currently I have a position at Loughborough College where I am responsible for training and assessing science apprentices and delivering sessional chemistry lectures
My aim is to get you to think like a chemist, analyse like a chemist, solve problems like a chemist; to use what you already know to be able to ask the right questions in order to develop your understanding of chemistry. I shall use all the techniques that are considered good practice in schools. And some of my own.
