Information About Paul - Driffield tutor - (4 reviews)
This is how 2 referees rated Paul:
I have been a personal tutor for 8 years and have been tutoring groups for about 20 years. As well as having a biology degree, I also have a keen interest in all science subjects, and try to pass on my enthusiasm to my students.
When I'm not teaching I enjoy photography, playing guitar and hill-walking.
I have about 20 years of tutoring experience. I began tutoring in adult education for Leeds University and for the last 8 years I've been a personal tutor for both GCSE and A-level students.
In 2009 I gained the level 3 PTLLS teaching qualification.
I am very enthusiastic about teaching biology and I genuinely believe that science should be interesting (and definitely not scary), and that understanding key principles makes the detailed stuff so much easier.
I tailor each session to the individual student's needs, spending any time necessary on topics that may be causing difficulties, and use a very patient approach to improve subject knowledge, exam technique as well as improving the student's confidence.
