Thanks so much for taking the time and trouble to leave feedback! I agree that sometimes learners CAN get rather put off and disillusioned when preparing for exams. Even when they understand everything well, there can be questions of how to interpret what exactly is required, and how to go about applying their knowledge to get all the marks. It is GREAT to help a student to plan, gain understanding, fill in knowledge-gaps, practise answering questions -- and then see her/him grow in confidence and skill. Your feedback is both useful to me and to other potential clients. Once again, THANKS -- I look forward very much to moving forwards and helping your daughter to do as well as she possibly can, and deserves, to do in the upcoming GCSEs. CHEERS!

Thanks so much for leaving feedback! It's always wonderful to help someone make "great improvements" -- both in marks gained, and -- perhaps more importantly, in understanding (and also thus enjoyment and appreciation of the subject). It is also a joy and an honour to help someone succeed when they are learning through the Welsh language, and so keeping the language alive! There are indeed some specific words to get used to -- e.g. the meaning of "mynegi" ("to express"), in a maths context. I do strive to be highly prepared and ready with materials -- worked examples, worksheets, and past exam paper questions (always with answers). I am also prepared to "go the extra mile" to help out if needed (as appropriate) -- as an immediate example, typing up fully worked-through answers to exam questions over the Easter Bank Holiday weekend when requested since the Mark Scheme was unclear! I look forward to our continued journey together through the world of "Mathemateg / Maths" ! Hwyl fawr -- a Diolch!

I really appreciate it. it is great to know that I am succeeding in helping your son with his CGSE Welsh preparation for upcoming exams, especially the "Speaking" component. I always tailor my materials and methods to the individual learner. I must say it's a pleasure working with your son. We quickly got to know each other, and I really feel we are working together excellently now. It is quite apparent he's gained confidence very quickly, and is now engaging really well with the "topics for discussion" (such as "My Area" / "Sports Leisure" / "Alcohol and Drugs" -- in Welsh of course!). I think he's finding that it's not necessary to "be perfect all the time" and that he's beginning to "speak out", say what's on his mind, and interact with his peers. Let's keep up the momentum, and keep on talking to each other -- J. will, I am confident, go from strength to strength. I am sorry you had some confusion about the means of tutoring -- my profile is set up to indicate that I am ONLY offering ONLINE TUITION at the present time. Having said that, I feel that the session went very well -- I would compliment your daughter on her work-ethic, preparedness and prior knowledge. She asked highly specific and targeted questions which meant I was able to make the very best use of the time and give her the best support possible. We attacked several in-depth questions in Organic Chemistry, specifically on "Spectroscopic Techniques and Structure Determination." These can be quite challenging, and she did very well (with a few prompts here and there to "show the way"). It was a pleasure to work with her. I do wish her all the very best -- I think she deserves to do very well! THANKS AGAIN!

I work hard to keep up-to-date with the content of each syllabus and the style and nature of the exams. I do also pay particular attention to each tutee's "learning style" and needs, and am always ready to adapt what I do to provide results most effectively. I like to use all the time in each session as effectively as possible, and yes, I certainly aim to prepare as thoroughly as possible. I aim to make working together an enjoyable experience for students and for me.
