Imperial College Physics graduate and Python programmer! :)
I have just graduated in Physics and I am now pursuing a combined MA and MSci in Design Engineering at Imperial College London and the Royal College of Art. Following graduation I will be returning to Google, where I have already completed 2 internships. The first was as a Software Engineering Intern and the most recent as an Associate Product Management Intern.
I have consistently tutored primary and secondary school students throughout my studies over the past 6 years in maths and sciences. Each of my tutees has at least met their predicted grades with my support and in most cases they achieved higher grades than expected in a range of subjects from KS2 exams to A Levels.
As well as tutoring on subject content I have also helped students write personal statements for university and internship applications - both nationally and internationally. I have also mentored many students applying for internships and graduate roles by giving interview advice and application guidance.
I am a confident programmer with industry experience so I am also available to run coding workshops.
I like to take a hands on approach to learning and add some variety to each session so that they remain engaging.
I truly believe that everyone should have the opportunity to gain the skills they require to achieve their personal goals and I am very open to adapting my teaching style to help students feel most confident and comfortable to do exactly this. I can recommend lots of learning material and explain tricky concepts in a variety of ways in order to support their learning. As long as the student is curious and wanting to learn, I am very confident of the results they'll see through our collaboration.
