I am a Doctor who graduated this year from the University of Cambridge. Having been through GCSEs then A-levels not too long ago, I am aware of the challenges facing students at these levels. My teaching is clear and thorough, and patience is one of my strongest qualities.
Medicine being one of the most competitive courses, I offer interview practice and BMAT tuition. I am lucky to be in contact with lecturers/supervisors on an almost day-to-day basis, so I understand what qualities they are looking for in applicants.
Although I am on a shift-based rota, I am available all year round on most weekday evenings and weekends. Please contact me for more information.
Approximately 750 hours of one-to-one tuition.
The approach will always be different depending on your individual needs. Here are some options:
1) Understanding: Always student-specific, I will find the root of each individual problem. Then the resolutions will come in bite-size steps, until we reach the point at which you will wonder why you struggled in the first place!
2) Exam technique: We will go through past papers and mark schemes to discover the skills required to achieve the marks.
3) Motivation: If you cannot see the point in studying, I will show you things that will fascinate you, to keep you on track.
