I am a fully qualified Maths teacher currently teaching A-level maths in a Further Education College. I have a First Class Honours degree in Mathematical Studies so should be more than capable to help with any maths problems you might have. I moved to England from Ireland in 2013 after I finished Uni (studying Maths and Irish at University College Cork) to train as a maths teacher at Edge Hill University.
I undertook my teacher training in 2013/2014 where I had placements in two secondary schools involving working will all abilities from bottom set key stage 3 all the way up to A2 Maths students. In 2014/15 I worked in a sixth form college in Liverpool teaching Maths to A-level students and GCSE resit students. Since last academic year I have been working in an outstanding college in Lancashire where I teach A-level maths, A-level Further Maths, GCSE resit classes and Core Maths.
I pride myself on my ability to break things down to make them as simple as possible so that you can better understand them. I will also be able to provide you with revision techniques to help you achieve the best possible grade for you. I have experience of teaching all range of abilities. Your tutor sessions will be tailored to suit your needs- you will highlight any areas of difficulty and we will tackle them until you are completely confident in your ability. Maths is all about confidence (and practice- lot's of practice!!) and it'll be my job to help get your confidence up.
