Welcome to my page,
I am a second year Philosophy and Spanish undergraduate student studying at King's College London. I have experience working with young people from a wide variety of backgrounds and thoroughly enjoy helping young people to achieve academic success.
I have tutored KS3, GCSE Maths and GCSE English Literature and Language to small groups of students, increasing their confidence and understanding in those subjects. I am incredibly patient and have worked with non-mainstream students who have learning and behavioural difficulties, assisting and supporting them in lessons of a wide range of subjects, such as English, Maths, Spanish, Photography.
Offered the prestigious Teach First Leadership Development 2-year intensive programme in 2nd year of university course
Passed the QTS Numeracy and Literacy Tests in July 2017

Literacy and numeracy are the building blocks for all academic success, so I focus on strengthening each student's literacy and numeracy skills in order to secure a strong foundation for understanding throughout their academic career.
It is important that each student has a thorough and deep understanding of their subject. To achieve this, I explain subject-related concepts in an easy to understand, relatable manner. I help students to build their confidence so that they can approach their subject from different angles. I regularly assess their attainment to track their progress and reach their desired academic targets.
I want each and every student to succeed in whichever path they choose in life. I will help them to develop subject-related skills and transferable skills such as organisation, critical and analytical thinking that can be applied to all their endeavours.
