I'm a Cambridge maths graduate (with a triple first and a distinction at the Masters level). I'm currently doing a funded PhD researching philosophy at Bristol University. I have also worked as a software engineer, building websites for the BBC (as a contractor).

I have one year's experience teaching Cambridge 2nd and 3rd year undergraduates, officially as a member of the Maths Faculty. On top of that I have one year's experience tutoring privately (with multiple students).
I make sure to always teach by getting my students to do the thinking themselves, rather than just showing them a solution. I try to ask the right questions so they can put together a solution themselves, and give them the time to do so.
