I'm a Academic Clinical Fellow and immunology researcher based at the University of Oxford.
I recently completed a professional teaching qualification at the University of Oxford Learning Institute (Enhancing Teaching Programme), passing with distinction. I have a wide range of teaching experience in basic sciences and clinical medicine/surgery including 1:1 tuition, tutorial work, and large group teaching.
I tailor my teaching style to the student through playing to an individual's strengths. I explain information accessibly, working from first principles to apply knowledge to common exam questions and to bring topics alive by using 'real-life' scenarios.
I take a long-term, goal-orientated approach and will work with students and parents to define realistic targets and a schedule by which these will be achieved. I am friendly and approachable and strive to impart a methodical style of thinking that can be used across subjects.
