I graduated with a First in Mathematics from King's College London in 2008. I have always been absorbed in every mathematical concept from a young age. Having a keen passion for this subject I started tutoring part-time at home for primary and secondary school pupils. Using mainly the weekends to balance my time between tutoring and reading my own work as well.
Being a contractor and currently half way through my Actuarial exams I'm more than happy to teach Pure Mathematics and Statistics from advanced to undergraduate level. Currently availability includes weekdays and weekends. I've also accepted a place to pursue an MSc in Mathematical Modelling at UCL later this year, to reinforce and advance my Mathematical knowledge.
I have 4 years experience of teaching children aged 5-18 years in preparation for common entrance examinations, GCSE/A-level Mathematics and Sciences.
I have developed diverse methods of teaching, which makes teaching exciting and stimulates greater learning for my students.
I started by helping out a few family friends for common entrance 11+ examinations, which turned out to be a real success. As a result I was recommended to other families, so I advertised myself in my local post office. I have been approached by many pupils and took on as much as 3 pupils for each day of the weekend. I have developed diverse methods of teaching and I was able to indicate whether certain students would excel more than others. I was always able to adapt myself to meet the needs of the student. Since I have shown great enthusiasm for Mathematics and the Physical Sciences myself, I was able to motivate my students and set an example.
I'll introduce my students into different ways of thinking, around Mathematical problems and use an approach that my students will understand, remember and apply.
