Home Tuition for Maths in Leicester

Hello! My name is Nosheela and have always had a great passion for teaching children maths in the primary setting! I believe maths should be taught in a way where its fun and exciting , not boring and dull as this does not catch students attention and makes them feel "bored". This teaching was encouraged by my younger siblings who struggled in maths and I used to help them in a fun way rather than teaching out of books and papers. I started this teaching passion from college and worked my way up until university where I have graduated in BA Education Studies! I have had experience teaching children english and science too! his could be available on request :)

Tutoring Experience

I have had many teaching experiences as during my college time i was studying Children's learning and development where I had to complete 800 hours in total for 4 schools (200 hours in each school). This was then carried on when I started working with a after school club and have worked in over 10 schools in Leicester teaching children maths and giving them the extra push in the subject maths and to have a different perspective on the subject by making it FUN! I have also worked over summer in a summer camp ( like a play scheme) and carried out fun activities in subjects - maths, english and science!

Tutoring Approach

My approach to tutoring is to make it fun and exciting. I believe children learn best when play or fun is Incorporated! My tutoring lessons would consist of at least 3 activities running throughout the national curriculum but in a way for them to love the subject not despise it!
