Tutoring Experience:

- Tutor since September 2014: experience in teaching complex concepts to a diversity of students of different ages and abilities.
I have been able to get the best out of my pupils through a teaching style tailored to the individual`s needs, to facilitate learning in the best manner possible.

- **Contact Detail Removed** Centre assistant (September 2011 to August 2013) - Responsible for supervising, teaching and enabling young children develop their Maths and English skills. This enabled me to develop strong interpersonal and communication skills with the kids.

- Maths Student Subject Leader (2013) - Tutored 2 students in AS Maths on a regular basis. Overall, their confidence in the subject greatly improved and most importantly, they were able to think independently when solving complex maths problems, leading to significantly higher end of term test results.

Tutoring Approach:

As an enthusiastic, patient, attentive individual who is passionate about teaching and learning, I find the process of passing on knowledge to others truly rewarding.

Furthermore, as someone who has been through school, GCSEs, A Levels and applying to medical school in the recent past, I am able to guide students who are going through the same steps and explain difficult concepts to them in a simple way which will facilitate understanding.

My aims during sessions with the pupils will be to target the concepts which they are finding particularly difficult and build their understanding of the topic based on what they already know.

This, combined with consolidating the student`s knowledge against clear learning outcomes set at the start of each session, official specification objectives and past paper practice, will help the student to learn and progress effectively.
