I am 4th year medical student who is highly motivated and enthusiastic about teaching. I am currently studying at King's College London and due to graduate next year. Medicine is a passion of mine and I aspire to spread knowledge and information to as many medical students, aspiring medics or anyone who is remotely interested in the field. Whether it be regarding the theoretical or clinical aspects of medicine or even simply advice with respect to life as a medical student/future doctor, I have a wide range of educational offering.
GCSE (2011-13) - Maths, Biology, Chemistry, Physics
A level (2013-15)
Teaching 2nd year medical students on pre-clinical and clinical medicine, incl. OSCE (2016-present)
Teaching Resuscitation procedures including CPR to a wide variety of medical students (2016-17)
Peer Assisted Learning programme facilitator- preparing lower year student on their medical finals, including OSCE (2016-present)
My teaching style encompasses around flexibility to suit whatever the student requires. Whether it be a structured approach to address a set number of topics or a more relaxed approached to undergo a more laid back and yet productive learning experience, I am willing to base it to the needs of the individual student.
I believe that excitement is a core component of effective learning, and I will try my absolute best to ensure that the sessions provoke intellectual excitement for the students. I will achieve this by finding ways of making the sessions fun whilst ensuring that the quality of learning is at its optimum.
I am patient, reassuring and passionate when it comes to teaching.
