My name is Nathan Dean, a teacher, trainee counsellor, and writer based in North Lincolnshire. With experience substituting in a range of institutions, from Lincoln College to special educational needs, I want to bring excitement to your studies through the safety of online classes, as well as bringing my therapeutic knowledge to our sessions.

Tutoring Experience

I have taught in a range of institutions, from preschool to preparing students for university, along with the established curriculum, special educational needs, supporting the community directly, and artistic projects. In working in so many different institutions, I have established knowledge of the curricula students are working with, but also firmly believe in letting the student find what inspires them. Tutoring Approach

Following a combined pedagogical/heutogogical approach, I let the student guide me in their learning, giving them the tools necessary to self-educate, whilst supporting them with direct knowledge of the curriculum they are working on.

With adult learners, who may not necessarily be beholden to a fixed curriculum, I follow the same approach of letting the student guide me. What are you interested in? What inspires you? This forms the initial point we leap from into your studies.
