Information About Natasha - Glasgow tutor
This is how 2 referees rated Natasha:
A graduate of the Royal Conservatoire of Scotland with both a Bachelor of Music and Master of Music degree, and a former pupil of Chetham's School of Music, I have extensive experience both in teaching and performing.
I teach singing, violin and piano to a high standard to students of all ages and abilities and always aim to create a relaxed and friendly environment I'm which to learn. I aim to put music in a context for practical use from the start, enabling students to see the results of their work very early on. Healthy technique, ear training and theory are all incorporated as we go along, offering a deeper understanding of the subject, and a more rounded approach to learning.
Students with additional learning needs are more than welcome. I have a good deal of experience in these areas, and can always tailor sessions to the particular needs of the student.
All teaching takes place in a well equipped and dedicated teaching room in my home.
I hold a full DBS check, and am fully insured. I also have training in paediatric first aid.
Individual teaching - 8 years, including in schools, independent music schools and at home.
Class teaching - 7 years, including in schools and independent music schools.
I always aim to put learning in a context that makes sense to each individual, using discussion and practical demonstration. Every person has a skill or aptitude, so using this area when learning is particularly beneficial and really helps to aid understanding and concentration.
