Personal Description:

Having graduated as the youngest doctor in my university at the age of 22, I have learnt the smart way to approach both interviews as well as exams. I think anyone can achieve their goals, as long as they prepare efficiently and I am keen to pass on my skills to anyone who needs it. As a senior medical student, I was a part of the interview panel and thus have plenty of experience to pass on to students who wish to study medicine and are due to get interviewed. Moreover, I have helped many medical students with coursework and exams, as well as helping them learn anatomy and develop skills for their OSCEs.

Tutoring Experience:

GCSE students - I have taught students how to prepare and for GCSEs especially for Biology, Chemistry and Math. Most of my students passed with A's and B's.
A-level students - I have helped many students pass their A - level Biology, Chemistry and Math exams.
Medical Students - I currently teach medical students in their clinical years how to pass OSCEs in a smart and efficient manner. I thoroughly enjoy teaching anatomy as well and so am always happy to teach students quick ways to remember anatomy and recognise abnormalities.

I have received a prize from the South Thames Foundation School for my contribution to teaching medical students.

Tutoring Approach:

I am extremely patient and am a keen believer in preparing for my students beforehand. I usually like to spend the first session inquiring about what exactly the student's study needs are and also ask students to complete a small test paper which helps me identify their strengths and weaknesses. I then concentrate on the areas that students are not strong in to develop their skills and build their confidence.

With regard to interviewing, having participated in numerous medical interviews myself (as an interviewer and candidate), I feel preparation is key to a successful interview and interviewers can really pick out candidates who are well prepared and candidates who are not. My aim would be to teach students the important tips which can be applied to any interview whether it is for university or for speciality jobs after foundation training.
