I have been tutoring for over fifteen years, i enjoy helping others learn. It helps me to keep up to date with the curriculums at school and with research in the field of Psychology. My ethos is if learning is enjoyable then it will become easier to apply. This has worked for my students as i tend to keep sessions enjoyable and stimulating.

Tutoring Experience

Over the last decade i have helped students with dyslexia, autism, and learning difficulties. My experience stems from teaching primary aged children to adults studying at university. I first started to tutor at University, when my class fellows had asked me for help, thus i set up study groups and i continued from there.

I help my students with entrance tests for grammar schools as well as regular sessions to help them attain curriculum targets. Therefore, i negotiate additional tutoring sessions with parents. I match my tutoring style to the students learning style. I believe this is crucial as when both styles clash thats when learning becomes tricky and students often find themselves struggling.

I have tutored over 60 students through first tutors and the majority of these still get in touch when they need me for help with academia so i have known them over many years.

For university students i can help at undergraduate, postgraduate and doctoral level with laboratory reports, dissertations, presentations and essays.

I cover all A-level Syllabuses ranging from AQA, OCR and Edexcel. I further provide tuition for the Advanced Psychology course at A-level to help students achieve extra UCAS points. I have helped many students apply for university courses such as Medicine, Psychology and Health Science related degrees.

Tutoring Approach

I can support you if you are currently attaining low grades. It is essential you are willing to learn and want to develop your skill set within these areas.

I will set tasks on your area of difficulty, help you work through these,help you revise and work towards your syllabus. I will make sure you achieve the highest grades but be under no illusion, you will need to work hard.
