I am a native French speaker and teacher who has taken a break to bring up my children. My expertise is French and Spanish.
I have 20 years' experience teaching French to A level and Spanish to GCSE in secondary schools as well as tutoring. I also mark examination papers for one of the major examination boards and conduct speaking tests in schools during the summer term. I deliver courses for the MOD and have taught French in primary schools and after-school clubs.
I tutor students of all ages, from primary school children to students preparing for the common entrance examinations, GCSE, A levels and Delf examinations and also undergraduates and adults wishing to learn a language from scratch or improve their existing competence.
I teach them the language they need to communicate effectively and confidently when travelling abroad or living in France/Spain. A lot of people do realise the importance and enjoyment of being able to communicate with the people of the country they are visiting or in which they wish to live.
My primary aim is to make my lessons fun and productive and to do so, I use a variety of materials and games to facilitate learning and speaking. I am friendly, patient and have a good sense of humour.
I tailor my lessons to every individual need, as I tutor students with different requirements and levels, from students working towards tests as well as people learning the language to help them enjoy the quality of their holiday or life abroad.
