Hello my name is Monica. I am a family person with a real desire to support others to reach their potential. I enjoy all sorts of things, from travel and experiencing other cultures to gardening and growing my own vegetables. I travel to and from Spain fairly frequently as my daughter lives in Seville, so at present I too am trying to learn a foreign language.
I am a qualified teacher with a range of experience stretching over the last 20 years. I have taught both in Language Schools and private 1:1 classes covering a wide range of ages, although individual 1:1 classes would now be my preference for teaching.
My approach is informal and friendly yet I like to keep classes on a professional basis. The lessons are geared to and planned around the student's needs....a person centred approach is important. I use a variety of teaching methods and tend to stick to whatever learning style best suits each individual. There are regular reviews of progress and I am always open to changing and adapting my teaching if that best suits the person. My classes are fun and interactive and I like to maintain an open and friendly relationship with my students.
