Information About Molly - Richmond upon Thames tutor
This is how 2 referees rated Molly:
I am a passionate, creative, engaging and knowledgable History teacher. My practice is regularly graded as ‘outstanding’ and I adore my job.
At GCSE level I am currently guiding my students through the Edexcel qualification, and the topics of:
- The Cold War
- Weimar and Nazi Germany
- Medicine Through Time and the Western Front
- The Norman Conquest
At KS3 I teach an extensive range of different topics. I additionally teach Religion and Philosophy.
My knowledge of the First World War is extensive and I will shortly be leading Battlefield Trips to France and Belgium. I have conducted detailed research into the Holocaust, and organised for several survivors of the Holocaust and other genocides to visit the schools in which I teach. This is a particular interest of mine.
You may just be looking for a few lessons to revise or would like regular support, and I am very flexible in what I can offer. I teach many dedicated students but often they find it difficult to structure answers in ways that analyse and evaluate the question asked, so I can be particularly useful in helping students understand exam technique.
I am a practising teacher who currently leads the History department in my school. I have experience in three different schools, and additionally run a History Club for KS4 students to help students to consolidate their knowledge outside lessons.
Each tutoring arrangement is tailored to the need of each student. For example, the focus may be on exam technique or pure content revision.
