Personal Description:

*Cello lessons*

*Currently available for Oxbridge application support and mock interview practice*

*English lessons*

Graduate from Pembroke College, Cambridge University with an English Literature degree. Starting an MA in Journalism at City London in September.

I have A*, A*, A* and A grade A Levels in English Literature, French, Creative Writing and German, and a further A in AS level Music. I also gained 12A* in my GCSEs. I attended the Junior Royal College of Music and achieved grade 8 distinction and since then have been working towards diploma level.

I am a friendly approachable graduate with a passion for getting the best out of my students and helping them gain confidence in their own abilities.

Tutoring Experience:

I have experience in teaching, both classroom based and one-to-one. I have taught English language and literature in China to classes of children aged 16. I have also taught piano to children between the ages of 6 and 10.

I am happy to help you with dissertations and coursework, be it at GCSE, A level or at University.

*Oxbridge Applications— having studied at Cambridge I am able to improve personal statements, help with subject tests and conduct mock interviews. Having successfully gone through the interview process I know how to make a candidate stand out, and am happy to pass on this knowledge.*
**I have examples of successful Cambridge personal statements in English and Law**

Tutoring Approach:

I love to get to know my students as individuals, beginning with gauging their needs and current ability. My lessons are dialogue focused. This is an approach I found incredibly useful during my supervisions at Cambridge. I believe this is the best way for a student to develop their own thought process, and gain skills and confidence that can continue to grow outside the classroom.

I approach each lesson with optimism, enthusiasm and flexibility.
