I am a keen tutor who genuinely enjoys teaching. My academic and professional background allows me to combine a deep understanding of the subject with the most efficient methods of delivery and coaching.
My great interest in Economics and related subjects led me to complete a BSc in Economics at the London School of Economics with a 1:1 degree and the Departmental Prize for the best students, and later to obtain an MPhil in Economics with Distinction at the University of Oxford. I am currently in my third year of a DPhil/PhD in Economics at the University of Oxford, specialising in Economic Theory.
I have worked for the top-tier investment banks and consulting firms in the City, so you can expect full professionalism. These experiences had also taught me how to explain complex concepts in an understandable manner and give actionable feedback.
You can expect an individual approach tailored to your needs. My preferred approach is to begin with fully mastering the theory before moving on to the practical applications and exam questions. Whatever your worries or doubts, they will be addressed. I will fully commit to helping you succeed.
If this sounds interesting to you, please don't hesitate to get in touch!
For 2 years I taught a second-year Microeconomics course at one of the Oxford colleges and a Financial Economics course at the University of Oxford's Said Business School. I have always received very positive feedback from my students and supervisors.
I have also privately tutored students in Microeconomics, Macroeconomics, Econometrics, Statistics, Maths, Game Theory, Financial Economics, Asset Pricing, Corporate Finance and similar topics.
I am extremely patient and willing to do whatever it takes for the student to understand a topic. I highlight the need to not only master the technical skills but also to understand and interpret the obtained results. I am happy to propose a systematic teaching plan that can supplement and support your lectures and classes but also organise quick and intense revision sessions just before exams. I can also help you with your research projects by providing the necessary comments and suggesting additional resources.
